Account Name is your complete email address
Incoming Server (POP) should be pop.yourdomain.com
Outgoing Server (SMTP) should be smtp.yourdomain.com *
Outgoing Server requires authentication & uses port 587.

* ATTENTION. Charter Cable Modem users with non-mobile desktop systems please use "smtp.charter.net" for your Outgoing Server, this server does not require authentication or the use of port 587.

Choose Accounts from the Tools Menu.

Select your existing email account and click "Properties" or Add new email account.

Your general tab settings should at least have your name and your email address.

The Servers tab should look like this. Be sure to check the box for Outgoing Mail requires authentication.

Click the "Settings" button for the Outgoing Mail Server confirm that it is using the same settings as incoming mail server.

Click on the Advanced tab and set the Outgoing Mail Server Port Number to 587.
